Senior Bioanalytical Scientist required for a rapidly expanding CRO based in the North Yorkshire area.

Company: Part of a multinational Contract Research Organisation, but has a family feel and caring culture, helping to advance drug development.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Flexible start times.

Location:  North Yorkshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £25-35k dependent on skills and experience.

You  will be involved in:

• Testing of samples on  LCMS instrumentation for GLP and GCP studies.
• Understanding client requirements and choosing appropriate test methods for studies.
• Processing, collating and checking analytical data from your own work and from junior staff members.
• Communicating study updates and data with customers alongside the study managers.
• Mentoring junior staff and working with QA on continuous improvement activities.

You will need:

• Ideally 2 years+  bioanalytical background using LCMS systems within a GLP environment.
• Science based degree (or higher) ideally within Chemistry or Biochemistry  (others will be considered).
• Experience of testing a variety of analytes such as small molecules, peptides and biomarkers.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
