Warehouse Manager job opportunity for a leading materials manufacturer based in the East Yorkshire region.

Job Opportunity –  Warehouse Manager  

Company: Rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturing organisation, which is bucking the trend in the construction materials market and is continuing to grow rapidly.

Hours of work:  Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.45pm, Friday 8am to 1pm.

Location:  East Yorkshire area 

Duration:  Permanent

Salary: up to £45k (dependant on your skills and experience) 

You will be involved in:

• Hands-on implementation of WMS systems including barcoding and batching.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure safe, efficient and accurate storage of incoming and outgoing materials and stock. 
• Liaising with production and R&D to ensure accurate stock delivery for manufacturing.
• Ensure Health and Safety, and compliance within the warehouse facility.
• Carrying out stock audits, warehouse improvement activities to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

• Proven warehouse management or senior warehouse leadership roles within a manufacturing organisation.
• Working knowledge of ISO45001 and other compliance standards.
• Previous experience managing a team of up to 10 staff including training/coaching, reviews and rotas.
• Experience of setting up WMS and use of ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
• FLT licence (reach and counterbalance).
• Previous experience carrying out stock audits, and root-cause analysis.
